Star Citizen occasionally runs referral bonus events, rewarding new players who sign up with a referral code and spend $40 USD or more in the pledge store. These bonuses often include hoverbikes, small ships, or armor and weapon sets, and typically appear alongside Free Fly events—though sometimes they launch as standalone promotions.
The last referral bonus ran through February 17, 2025, during the Red Festival. Players who joined with a referral code and pledged $40+ earned a Dragonfly hoverbike (LTI) with Coalfire Paint — a $43 value!
The next bonus event is expected during Invictus Launch Week (ILW / Fleet Week) in May — so stay tuned!
Note: You must have completed a $40 purchase prior to the end of the Red Festival event (February 17th, 2025) to have received the latest referral bonus. Referral bonuses are typically granted at the end of the event.
If you properly used a referral code (STAR-SFVL-W7BT) and DID NOT receive a referral bonus at the conclusion of the event, contact Customer Support to have them correct the error.
